GIA certificate is a certification for every diamond from Cartier. When you purchase a diamond ring or anything with a diamond, your sales should mail the GIA certificate to your home. But be carefull, this store will lost your GIA certificate even they told you they will mail it to you. I strongly suggest everyone buy diamond from other Cartier stores!
